Friedrich Eickenrodt

Friedrich Carl Heinrich Eickenrodt (born August 22, 1808 in Osterholz , † September 27, 1881 in Hanover ) was a German Lutheran theologian.

Life

Eickenrodt was the son of a magistrate. He studied theology and became pastor in Himmelpforten in 1839 , inspector at the teachers' college in Stade in 1851 , pastor in Oldendorf (district of Stade) in 1859 , pastor and superintendent in Sandstedt in 1865 and clergyman in the consistory in Hanover in 1868 . From 1871 he was also superintendent of the general diocese of Hoya-Diepholz .
