Friedrich Felzmann

Friedrich Felzmann (born February 3, 1951 in Stiwoll ) is an Austrian alleged double murderer . Felzmann hit the headlines at the end of 2017 after allegedly killing two people by shooting from a rifle and seriously injuring another person. After his escape immediately after the crime, there is now no trace of him, which is why it is suspected that he may already be dead.

Internet presence and politics

Felzmann had been running the blog www.Justiz-Gewalt.at for a long time . On this he made very negative comments about state authorities, the SPÖ and the press. In the summer of 2015 he distributed leaflets in front of the parliament in Vienna with the inscription "SPÖ-Justice-Fraud-Rip-off-Corruption". In September 2015 Felzmann also took part in a rally of the Austrian “ Party of the People ”. Felzmann is also said to be a sympathizer of the anti-Islam movement Pegida , for which he uploaded a video on his YouTube channel. On his Facebook account he was with numerous FPÖ- Officials friends.

Criminal offenses

On October 29, 2017, Felzmann is said to have killed two of his neighbors with multiple shots from a rifle and seriously injured one person with further shots. The act emerged from a long-standing neighborly dispute over a path to Felzmann's property, so it was not politically motivated. The act was also not prepared, which is why the police spoke of an "eruptive act". Felzmann had already been reported several times for attempted resistance against state power and for being re-employed by the National Socialists . According to an expert opinion he was classified as insane . At home he kept an "enemy list" of potential victims.

Escape

After the fact, Felzmann parked his car in a nearby wooded area and fled on on foot. After the manhunt was initiated, local schools and kindergartens were temporarily closed, and the services in Stiwoll were secured by a large police presence. Hundreds of people roamed the regional forests and abandoned houses. A number of testimonies about Felzmann sightings in Upper and Lower Austria turned out to be false alarms. Even when searching a tunnel system of an old silver mine, no trace of what was wanted was found.

Now Felzmann has been put on the list of the most wanted people in Austria. Further efforts to search by dog ​​squadrons and drones were unsuccessful. Friedrich Felzmann was then included in the “Europe's Most Wanted Fugitives” list. On January 26, 2018 it was announced that the " Soko Friedrich" had been discontinued, but a reward of 5,000 euros had been issued for important information. The procedure was canceled at the end of May 2018. Since the search, there is still no trace of Felzmann. On the list of “Austria's most wanted persons” he is in second place behind Tibor Foco .

Friedrich Felzmann lived on a farm in Stiwoll and ran a beekeeping .
