Friedrich Gleich
Friedrich Gleich (born November 24, 1782 in Vogelsdorf , † 1842 in Altenburg ) was a German theater director , writer and translator .
Life
Immediately was theater director in Erfurt for a long time , later lived as a writer and translator in Leipzig and in 1831 moved to Altenburg , where he founded a publishing bookstore where he published the magazine Der Eremit, among other things . He has translated numerous works by Louis-Benoît Picard , Anne Louise Germaine de Staël , Victor Henri Joseph Brahain Ducange , Charles Pougens , Jean Nicolas Bouilly and Voltaire .
