Friedrich Habermaas

Jakob Friedrich Conrad Habermaas (born September 10, 1795 in Illingen (Württemberg) , † August 7, 1841 in Ulm ) was a Württemberg lawyer and politician .

Life

Born as the son of the economist and mayor of Illingen Jakob Ernst Friedrich Habermaas, Habermaas studied law in Tübingen . During his studies he became a member of the Corps Württembergia and in 1816 of the old Tübingen fraternity Arminia . He took part in the Wars of Liberation in 1813/14 as a volunteer . He was promoted to Dr. iur. doctorate and in 1824 assessor at the court for the Jagstkreis in Ellwangen . After he had become chief magistrate in Gerabronn in 1828 with his seat in Langenburg, he went to Tübingen in 1829 and in 1835 became chief justice advisor at the court for the Danube district in Ulm. From 1826 to 1831 he was a member of the Württemberg state parliament .
