Friedrich Hallwachs (District Councilor)
Friedrich Ludwig Hallwachs (* 1779 ; † 1836 ) was a German district administrator .
Life
Hallwachs was the son of the bailiff Georg Hallwachs (1751–1797) and his wife Maria Katharina nee Wagner. Georg Hallwachs and Wilhelm Hallwachs were his brothers. He was married. The daughter Ottilie (1815-1892) married the later Bavarian district director Friedrich Kahl (1806-1891). Wilhelm Kahl is a grandson.
Hallwachs was district administrator in the district of Darmstadt, which was newly created in 1821, from 1821 to 1832 . After the administrative districts were dissolved in 1832, circles were created. With the title of a district council, Hallwachs administered the Wimpfen district , which formally now belonged to the Heppenheim district , but in fact remained largely independent as an exclave due to its exposed location .
