Friedrich Hastenpflug

Friedrich Hastenpflug (born March 16, 1812 in Nieder-Wildungen , † May 14, 1877 in Korbach ) was a German judge and politician .

Hastenpflug was the son of the registrar Johann Friedrich Hastenpflug and his wife Maria (née Dietz). He married Mathilde Kleinschmit on June 6, 1844 in Nieder-Wildungen. Hastenpflug studied law in Göttingen from 1832. In 1838 he became a lawyer in Nieder-Wildungen, where he was city secretary from 1843 to 1850. In 1850 he became a representative and in 1851 a definitive district judge in Pyrmont. In 1860 he was transferred to Korbach in the same position. In 1869 he became a district judge at the Korbach district court and later a district judge.

From 1853 to 1859 he was a member of the state parliament of the Principality of Waldeck-Pyrmont for the constituency of Pyrmont . From 1854 to 1859 he was also a member of the special state parliament for the Principality of Pyrmont . From 1871 to 1877 he was again (this time for the Eisenberg district) a member of the Landtag of the Principality of Waldeck-Pyrmont.
