Friedrich Haubold

Friedrich Haubold (born June 21, 1950 in Oldenburg ) is a German politician ( Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen ).

Life

Haubold attended elementary school and later the grammar school in Oldenburg. Here he passed his Abitur in 1970 and then began studying at the University of Education and at the University of Oldenburg. He graduated with a teaching degree in French, sports, politics and history. Due to his 15-month military service between 1974 and 1975, he became a staunch pacifist. From 1975 he was employed as a teacher at the orientation level and secondary school in Bad Zwischenahn . Between 1970 and 1978 he was also in charge of international youth exchange work.

Haubold is a member of the Education and Science Union and became a member of the GREEN in 1979. His work focuses on youth, agriculture, nutrition and alternative technologies. He is also a member of the professional association of social workers, social pedagogues and curative pedagogues. He is also a member of the BUND and the German Consumer Protection Association. Haubold was a co-organizer and participant in anti-nuclear power and anti-war demonstrations since 1978.

Public offices

Between 1980 and June 1982, Haubold was a member of the district assembly of the Ammerland district and became a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament from June 21, 1982 to June 5, 1985 in the tenth electoral term .
