Ottomar Haxsen

Ottomar Haxsen (born October 27, 1898 in Fleeste , † September 19, 1972 in Bremerhaven ) was a German politician ( DP / CDU ).

After primary school, Haxsen attended secondary school and agricultural school. This was followed by his agricultural apprenticeship. In 1930 he started his own business as a farmer. Since 1945 he was a member of the local council in Wesermünde and since 1946 also a member of the district council in Wesermünde .

In addition, he became a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament from April 20, 1947 to June 20, 1970 in the first to sixth electoral term . Here he was chairman of the Committee on Food and Agriculture from September 26, 1955 to May 5, 1959. He belonged in the state parliament initially from March 28, 1951 to May 5, 1959 of the DP / CDU parliamentary group. Later he was a member of the DP parliamentary group until March 28, 1962 and then a member of the CDU parliamentary group from March 29, 1962.

Honors

Haxsen is the bearer of the Great Cross of Merit of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany and the Great Cross of Merit of the Lower Saxony Order of Merit .
