Friedrich Haug (lawyer)

Friedrich Haug (born August 10, 1908 in Ellwangen ; † July 23, 2004 ) was a judge at the Federal Social Court from 1957 to 1974 .

After completing his legal training in 1934, Haug initially worked as a judge. From 1936 to 1945 he was a member of the Reich Surveying Office; after the war he was again a judge at the Stuttgart Higher Regional Court .

With the establishment of social justice and the associated social court of Baden-Württemberg in 1954, Haug became a member of this court as President of the Senate .

In July 1957, Haug was appointed federal judge at the Federal Social Court. Here he was initially a member of the 1st Senate and took over the chairmanship of the 12th Senate in October 1969.

Haug retired on March 20, 1974.
