Friedrich Heinrich Leonhard Albert

Friedrich Heinrich Leonhard Albert (* 6. July 1819 in Osterode , † 13. April 1864 / 1865 in Quedlinburg ) was a German lawyer, member of the Frankfurt National Assembly and mayor of Quedlinburg.

Life

Friedrich Albert studied law in Göttingen and Berlin from 1837 to 1840 . From 1840 he was trainee lawyer in Berlin and from 1842 assessor in Halberstadt and Quedlinburg.

In 1849 Albert was a member of parliament for the constituency of Saxony (5th, Aschersleben ) as the successor to Eduard von Flottwell in the Paulskirchenparliament in Frankfurt. He joined the Augsburger Hof parliamentary group .

In 1849 he was a member of the Gotha Parliament . In the same year he made major trips through Spain, England and France and became the owner of the Münchenhof estate near Quedlinburg, where he also lived at Münchenhof in 1248 .

In Quedlinburg he was a member of the city council from 1853 to 1859. In addition, from 1858 he was a member of the Saxon provincial parliament.

In 1863 he became mayor of Quedlinburg.
