Friedrich Johann von Löwenwolde

Johann Friedrich Baron von Löwenwolde ( Russian Фридрих Иоганн Густавович Левенвольде ; June * 25 . Jul / 6. July  1776 greg. , † October 3 jul. / 15. October  1832 greg. In Rappin ) was a Livonian Landmarschall .

Life

Friedrich Johann was a member of the Baltic Barons von Löwenwolde . His parents were the heir to the Livonian estates Rappin and Ropkoy as well as Livonian district administrator and real Russian state councilor Johann Gustav Baron von Löwenwolde (1733-1791) and Agrippa Catharina Johanna, née Freiin von Meyendorff (1756-1812).

Löwenwolde married Dorothea Caroline von Anrep (* 1798) in 1819 . Daughter of the Russian Lieutenant General Reinhold von Anrep (1760–1807).

He studied history in Göttingen in 1797 . From 1805 to 1823 he was parish judge and from 1818 to 1824 Dorpater district deputy. Finally, he held the position of Livonian land marshal from 1827 to 1830 and was then taken care of as district administrator.

As a co-owner of Rappin, he had the manor park built there.
