Friedrich König (politician, 1857)

Friedrich König (born March 2, 1857 in Hausen an der Aach , † January 22, 1935 in Mannheim ) was a German politician (NLP, DDP).

Life

Born the son of a citizen and farmer, König studied law in Freiburg after attending the Freiburg grammar school . During his studies in 1876 he became a member of the Alemannia Freiburg fraternity . After exams and legal clerkship, he became a lawyer in Mannheim in 1883 . In Mannheim, he was the National Liberal Party and was since 1896 as chairman of the district committee , since 1898 as a city councilor and since 1899 as a member and chairman of the citizens' committee operates. From 1909 to 1912 he was a member of the Baden state parliament . In 1919 he belonged again to the state parliament for a short time , this time as a member and parliamentary group leader of the German Democratic Party .
