Friedrich Karl II of Hohenlohe-Waldenburg-Schillingsfürst
Friedrich Karl II. Chlodwig Constantin Adolf Fürst zu Hohenlohe-Waldenburg-Schillingsfürst (born September 26, 1846 in Kupferzell , † October 6, 1924 in Waldenburg ) was a member of the House of Hohenlohe . He has held the title of Prince since 1886.
Life
Friedrich Karl II. Was a son of Prince Friedrich Karl I Joseph and his wife Therese, Princess of Hohenlohe-Schillingsfürst. Friedrich Karl II. Succeeded his brother Nikolaus, who died early, in 1886 in his rights as a registrar . As a registrar he held a mandate in the First Chamber of the Württemberg Land estates , which he entered in 1887. Friedrich Karl II zu Hohenlohe-Waldenburg-Schillingsfürst was an imperial-royal district commissioner and treasurer. From 1913 he was the senior of the Hohenlohe house.
Prince Friedrich Karl II. Chlodwig belonged to the Roman Catholic Church and on November 26, 1889 married Therese (1869–1927) in Fürstenau , the daughter of Count Alfred zu Erbach-Fürstenau , with whom he had a son: Friedrich Karl III. Prince of Hohenlohe-Waldenburg-Schillingsfürst (1908–1982). In 1932 he married Mechtild Fürstin von Urach (1912-2001), the daughter of Duke Wilhelm II of Urach. From this marriage two sons and three daughters were born.
In 1889 Friedrich Karl zu Hohenlohe-Waldenburg-Schillingsfürst was awarded the Grand Cross of the Order of the Württemberg Crown .
