Friedrich Ludwig II. Count Truchseß zu Waldburg (* April 14, 1741 ; † May 2 or May 3, 1807 ) was a Prussian major and chamberlain from the Waldburg-Capustigall family . His full title read: Truchsess von Waldburg-Capustigall, Reichsgraf von Waldburg, Herr zu Capustigall, Glautienen, Seepothen and Wesdehlen .

Life

Friedrich Ludwig II. Count Truchseß zu Waldburg grew up in the East Prussian castle Waldburg-Capustigall near Königsberg . His parents were the Prussian Major General Friedrich Ludwig I (1717-1777) and Charlotte Sophie de la Chièze (von Chaise) (born September 19, 1717, † December 4, 1761) the granddaughter of Philip de Chiese .

He was married twice. He married his first wife on August 28, 1772 (divorce September 23, 1783). It was Amalie (Christiane) Albertine Wilhelmine von Ingersleben (1755–1796), the daughter of Johann Ludwig von Ingersleben . The couple had three children:

His second wife was Amalie Pauline Countess of Kalnein (1770–1829) since March 30, 1786. The couple had three children:

  • Jakob Mangold (1787–1804),
  • Pauline Albertine Wilhelmine Friederike Emilie Karoline (1788–1860)
  • Viktor Karl Leopold Babo (1790–1806).
