Friedrich Quanz

Friedrich Quanz (born February 18, 1892 in Kassel ; † November 1, 1968 ) was a German politician ( CDU ) and a member of the Hessian state parliament .

education and profession

Friedrich Quanz attended the community school from 1898 to 1906 and did an apprenticeship at the state land registry office in Kassel from 1906 to 1909. From 1909 to 1911 he attended the Kassel State Building School and from 1911 to 1914 worked as a civil engineer for the Kassel City Administration. From 1914 to 1918 he did military service. From 1919 to 1945 he worked again as a civil engineer and urban planning inspector in Kassel and at the same time attended the Technical University from 1925 to 1926. From 1945 to 1947 he was the managing director of the non-profit housing association of the city of Kassel.

Before 1933 Friedrich Quanz was a member of the Christian Social People's Service .

From August 1, 1938, Quanz was a supporting member of the SS .

In 1945 Quanz was one of the co-founders and district chairmen of the CDU in Kassel. In 1948 and 1960 he was a city councilor in Kassel for a few months. In between he was a full-time city councilor for housing and settlement from June 2, 1947 to August 15, 1954.

From July 15, 1958 to November 30, 1958 he was a member of the Hessian state parliament.
