Friedrich Roman Gebhard (also Friederich Roman Gebhard ; born February 28, 1742 in Munich , † January 17, 1803 near Oberdolling ) was a Catholic priest , Jesuit and scholar.

According to the inscription on his grave monument in the parish church of Oberdolling , he was of aristocratic descent and, after graduating from the Jesuit high school in Munich (now Wilhelmsgymnasium Munich ), he joined the Society of Jesus on September 28, 1758 at the age of 16 . He studied philosophy and theology and became a doctor of philosophy and, on October 19, 1773, also a doctor of theology, obtained a doctorate from the University of Ingolstadt . Almost four years later, on June 2, 1777, he was given the parish of Oberdolling; The Jesuits had relationships with Oberdolling for a long time; the castle there was owned by the Jesuit College Ingolstadt until 1692 . Father Gebhard worked in Oberdolling for 26 years "with the greatest zeal", as the grave monument reports; nothing is known of his scientific work. He died shortly before his 59th birthday on the way back from Offendorf near Mindelstetten to Oberdolling of " slime ".
