Friedrich Sieber (painter)
Friedrich Sieber (born December 15, 1925 in Reichenberg , Czechoslovakia , † August 29, 2002 ) was a German painter and artist .
From 1950 he studied at the Stuttgart Art Academy . His teacher at the time, to whom he particularly refers, was Professor Manfred Henninger .
In 1956, together with Georg Karl Pfahler , Günther C. Kirchberger and Attila Biró, he founded Group 11 , which was based on Action Painting and Informel . At the beginning of the 1960s he turned away from Informel and found a language of form that combined constructive elements with those of color field painting .
