Friedrich Sprang

Friedrich Sprang (born April 4, 1932 in Westphalia ; † January 21, 2017 ) was a German lawyer and judge at the Federal Social Court .

Life

After studying law and political science in Göttingen , Friedrich Sprang passed the two state examinations in law in 1956 and 1961 . The doctorate on a criminal law topic took place during the traineeship while working .

In January 1962, Sprang entered the ordinary jurisdiction of the State of Lower Saxony, where he initially worked as a court assessor at the Hanover public prosecutor's office and in the penal system . After switching to social justice , he was a judge at the social courts of Braunschweig and Osnabrück from June 1963 . A delegation to the Lower Saxony State Social Court followed. In March 1978 Sprang was appointed judge at the regional social court.

Friedrich Sprang had been a member of the Federal Social Court since October 1980. He was seven years in the 2nd Senate, then in the 8th and 10th Senate, since May 1993 as the presiding judge of the 8th and 10th Senate, who during this time was responsible for miners ' insurance, accident insurance for the mining industry and the Bankruptcy default benefits and child benefits were responsible.

Friedrich Sprang retired in July 1995 and has lived in Belm ever since . He died on January 21, 2017 at the age of 84.
