Friedrich Storck

Friedrich Storck (born December 26, 1838 in Elberfeld (now part of Wuppertal ), † December 5, 1915 there ) was a German writer and poet . He also wrote under the pseudonym F. Höarmeckan .
He was known as a folk poet and published numerous works both in High German and in Elberfelder Platt . He was an employee of a trading company. He was married to Juliane Hampel (1839-1915), with whom he had a son named Viktor Storck , who was also a writer. Storck published, among other things, his autobiography with the title "From the school of life". He was buried in the Hochstrasse cemetery in Elberfeld, where a street is named after him.
