Friedrich Vortisch (born March 5, 1899 in Lörrach ; † September 22, 1991 ibid) was a German lawyer and politician ( DemP , FDP / DVP ).

education and profession

Friedrich Vortisch completed a law degree, worked as a lawyer since 1925 and later ran a law firm in Lörrach.

Political activity

After the Second World War he joined the Democratic Party in southern Baden, which in 1948, with other liberal associations, helped found the FDP and became its regional association in Baden . In 1946/47 he was a member of the Advisory State Assembly of Baden and was then elected to the Baden State Parliament, of which he was a member until 1952. From 1952 to 1960 he was a member of the Baden-Württemberg state parliament .

Friedrich Vortisch was awarded the Baden-Württemberg Medal of Merit on May 7, 1988 .
