As the successor to Christian Horst, Friedrich Weber was elected from 1909 until the end of the constitutional monarchy in 1918 as a member of the state parliament for the constituency of Durlach-Stadt in the Baden state parliament in Karlsruhe. After the First World War Weber was chairman of the workers 'and soldiers' council in Durlach and from 1919 to 1921 a member of the Baden state parliament, which had previously constituted the Baden national constitution, which adopted a democratic constitution for the state of Baden .

Act

Friedrich Weber came from a humble background and joined the SPD at an early age in order to campaign for the goals of the workers' party, especially the industrial city of Durlach. He was involved in the party and, from a social perspective, rose through party membership: from a worker to a works manager. He campaigned for better networking of the Baden railway and road construction. He advocated increased stops for express and express trains in Durlach and an improved expansion of the state road from Durlach to Karlsruhe. But Friedrich Weber also increasingly advocated better living conditions for the lower classes of the population. He demanded u. a. an increase in the pension for the survivors of those who died in the First World War and better housing conditions for workers.
