Konrad Exner
Konrad Exner (also Konrad Exner-Seemann ; born September 16, 1944 in Lübeck ) is a German educator and political scientist .
Life
After completing a commercial apprenticeship, Konrad Exner passed the Abitur at the evening grammar school. He studied pedagogy at the Rhineland University of Education and pedagogy and history at the University of Cologne . In addition to teaching, he studied history, political science and German at the University of Heidelberg . In 1991 he received his doctorate with an educational dissertation on the social origins of secondary school high school graduates in the Rhine Province in the second half of the 19th century at the Faculty of Social and Behavioral Sciences at Heidelberg University.
Until his retirement in 2009, he worked as a teacher at general and vocational schools, most recently as a senior lecturer at the Commercial Education Center in Bruchsal , and at times also as a lecturer in scientific policy at the Heidelberg University of Education. After his retirement he studied Protestant theology at the University of Heidelberg from 2009 to 2012 , and from 2013 to 2018 he headed the ecumenical Bible study group of the western parishes of Weinheim. In response to a call by the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Culture to retired teachers to help with the provision of lessons for children and young people during the refugee crisis, Exner taught various German courses as a part-time teacher from 2016 to 2018 at the vocational Hans Freudenberg School in Weinheim.
Exner is a member of the board of the Mannheim regional group of the Badische Heimat regional association . He published contributions to the country's history in the country Bildungsserver Baden-Wuerttemberg and in the magazines Badische home of the association of the same name and in this purpose, the country of the working group home care, administrative district of Karlsruhe. The main focus of his publications are the Baden State Assembly and the Baden State Parliament in the 19th and early 20th centuries and their members as well as the Baden constitutions.
