Friedrich Weber (lawyer)

Friedrich Weber (born May 19, 1905 in Munich , † July 4, 1996 in Heidelberg ) was a German lawyer and university professor .

Life

Born in Munich, Friedrich Weber began studying law at the Universities of Erlangen and Munich after completing his Abitur , which he completed in 1932 in Munich with the academic degree of Dr. iur. completed. Friedrich Weber subsequently joined the Bavarian judicial service, in 1934 he was promoted to the district judge in Munich , and in 1937 to the district judge .

In 1941 Weber completed his habilitation as a private lecturer for civil law and civil procedural law at the University of Gießen , and in the following year he accepted the offer for the permanent professorship for these subjects at the University of Heidelberg . Friedrich Weber, who was appointed full professor there in 1947 , retired in 1973 .

Friedrich Weber made a particular contribution to bankruptcy law.
