Friedrich Whitehead
Friedrich Weißkopf (born June 21, 1937 in Nuremberg ; † June 1, 2009 in Altdorf near Nuremberg ) was a German politician ( CSU ).
Life
After attending and completing elementary school, Weißkopf trained as a tailor . But he soon went into politics: in 1960 he became chairman of the CSU in Altdorf, and in 1962 chairman in the district of Nuremberg . On January 1, 1965, he became managing director of the Erlangen Bundestag constituency for the CSU. In the following year he moved into both the Altdorf city council and the Nuremberg district council, and later he became the second mayor of Altdorf. Also in 1966 he was elected to the Bavarian State Parliament for the first time in the Hilpoltstein constituency , Nuremberg-Land . In 1970 his mandate was confirmed, but in 1974 he no longer stood for the state parliament.
From 1982 to 1994 he was mayor of the city of Altdorf near Nuremberg.
