Friedrich Widmann (Chief Bailiff)

Friedrich Widmann (* 1808 in Sigmaringen ; † 1881 ibid) was a Hohenzollern governor .

Life

Friedrich Widmann was the son of a councilor and senior bailiff. He studied law in Freiburg and Heidelberg. In 1827 he became a member of the Corps Rhenania Freiburg . 1829-1831 he was a legal candidate at the Oberamt Ostrach and the Oberamt Sigmaringen . In 1831 he passed the service examination as a legal candidate. In 1831 and 1832 he was a legal trainee at the Haigerloch Oberamt and the Gammertingen Oberamt, and from 1832 to 1835 an actuary at the Princely Obervogteiamt Jungnau . From 1835 to 1862 he headed the Oberamt Ostrach as Oberamtmann. In 1850 he was accepted into the Prussian civil service. Retired in 1862, he died at the age of 73.
