Friedrich Zickwolff

Friedrich Zickwolff (born August 1, 1893 , † September 17, 1944 ) was a German officer , last lieutenant general in World War II . He was awarded the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross on June 2, 1942 as Lieutenant General and Commander of the 113th Infantry Division . Zickwolff also commanded the 227th Infantry Division , the 95th Infantry Division and the 343rd Infantry Division during the war .
