Friedrich von Uttenhoven

Friedrich Freiherr von Uttenhoven (born January 30, 1818 in Hildburghausen , † April 22, 1889 in Meiningen ) was a Minister of State in Saxony-Meiningen.

Life

Uttenhoven studied law at the University of Jena . In 1839 he was reciprocated in the Corps Saxonia Jena . After the exams and the doctorate to Dr. iur. he worked as a lawyer. In 1854 he joined the central administration of the Duchy of Saxony-Meiningen . In the same year he was elected to the Meiningen Landtag as representative of the manor owners. At times he was President of the State Parliament . From July 27, 1865 to August 18, 1866, he was Minister of State for Duke Bernhard II. Before that and until his death, he was the head of the ministerial department for church and government. School supplies.
