Friedrich von der Betten (administrative lawyer)

Friedrich von der Betten (baptismal name: Friedrich Raban Wilhelm Anton) (born November 28, 1777 in Münster , † March 3, 1840 in Halle ) was a Prussian district administrator.

Life

Origin and family

As the son of Mr and Mrs Mauritius Karl Friedrich Wilhelm Raban from the ceiling and Maria Anna Muckerm Friedrich came from the ceiling in Lower Saxony Uradelsgeschlecht of blankets . His first marriage was to Aloisia Rust, from whom a son emerged, and his second marriage to Philippine Wernekinck. Dunker married.

Professional background

After studying law, he first worked for three years as a judicial commissioner in Münster and then as a French mayor and public notaire in the Halle district. In November 1813 he entered the military and was a captain in the Hanover Grenadier-Landwehr battalion. On October 19, 1818 he was appointed district administrator of the Halle district and remained in office until he was replaced by August Ferdinand Conrad zur Hellen in 1831.
