Fritz Bischoff (sailor)
Friedrich "Fritz" Bischoff (born December 6, 1905 ; † after 1936) was a German regatta sailor who took part in the 1936 Olympic Games and won a bronze medal.
At the Olympic Games in 1936, the yacht Germania III competed in the 8-meter class . The owner of the yacht was Alfried Krupp , who also sailed himself , while Hans Howaldt acted as skipper . The crew also included Eduard Mohr , Felix Scheder-Bieschin , Otto Wachs and Fritz Bischoff. After seven regattas, the crew of the North German Regatta Association was behind the Italians together with the Norwegians. The Norwegians won the decisive regatta for silver in front of the German boat.
Fritz Bischoff's brother Peter Bischoff won gold in the Star boat class in 1936 .
