On the same day the local branch in Idar submitted an application for exclusion proceedings against Haltern on the grounds that in 1930 he had withheld a donation of 330 RM intended for the party. On January 25, 1932, Haltern was given leave of absence as Gruppenführer West of the NSKK and on February 1, 1932, in his SA service as Gruppenführer zV (= available). On March 9th, as a result of its investigation, the Reichs-Uschla applied for holders to be excluded from the party because of the proven retention of donations.
