Fritz Kollorz

Fritz Kollorz (* 10. March 1945 in Essen ; † 29. June 2019 in Recklinghausen ) was a German politician of the CDU .

education and profession

After graduating from elementary school in 1959, Kollorz attended the mining vocational school until 1962. Then he worked as a miner and colliery electrician. From April 1970 he held various positions at IG Bergbau und Energie . From April 1978 to 2005 he was a member of the board of the Federal Miners' Union (1991 - 2005 as its chairman) and from December 1990 chairman of the cooperative board of the mining trade association .

From May 1991 to October 1997 he was the 2nd chairman of the IG Bergbau und Energie and since October 1997 he has been a member of the executive board of the IG Bergbau, Chemie, Energie .

Kollorz received on 5 October 2009 at the Düsseldorf Staendehaus of Prime Minister Jürgen Rüttgers the Order of Merit of North Rhine-Westphalia .

Fritz Kollorz had been a member of the CDU since 1964. Since 1984 he has been a member of the CDA district board of Recklinghausen and 1st deputy chairman of the CDA regional association of North Rhine-Westphalia. From 1975 to 1980 he was a member of the Recklinghausen City Council. Since 1959 he was a member of IG Bergbau, Chemie, Energie and the KAB.

From 1990 to 2005 Fritz Kollorz was a member of the 11th , 12th and 13th state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia , which he entered via the state list.
