Fritz Krauchthaler
Fritz Krauchthaler (born August 15, 1915 in Heimiswil , † December 14, 2002 in Burgdorf ) was a Swiss politician .
Krauchthaler was a farmer and a member of the farmers, trade and citizens' party . From 1940 to 1948 he was a local councilor in Wynigen , and from 1969 to 1984 he was president of the local community (legislature). He was also a member of the Grand Council of the Canton of Bern from 1954 to 1972 . From 1971 to 1979 he sat on the Council of States for the successor party to the BGB, the Swiss People's Party . He mainly dealt with agricultural policy .
