Fritz Marbach
Fritz Marbach (born July 20, 1892 in Oberwichtrach ; † November 30, 1974 in Bern , resident in Oberwichtrach) was a Swiss economist and politician ( SP ).
Life
Marbach was from 1931 to 1962 professor of economics at the University of Bern . From 1927 to 1965 he was a member of the pricing commission and, during World War II, he was president of the “wage review commission for the Swiss Federal Council”.
Politically, Fritz Marbach was on the city council of Bern from 1915 to 1925, on the Grand Council of the Canton of Bern from 1925 to 1931 and on the National Council from 1931 to 1934 .
