Fritz Marti (journalist)
Fritz Marti (born April 26, 1866 in Buchs , Canton Aargau , † August 8, 1914 in Zurich ) was a Swiss journalist , literary critic and writer .
life and work
Marti graduated from the Wettingen teacher training college from 1887 to 1892 and then taught as a primary school teacher in Ennetbaden . Marti studied German, history and philosophy at the University of Zurich from 1892 to 1894 and worked as a secondary teacher in Zurich.
From 1896 to 1899 Marti was a freelance journalist and editor for the magazine. At the domestic hearth - monthly publication for entertainment and instruction . The sheet was published by the Zurich “Pestalozzi Society”. From 1899 Marti was head of the feature section of the Neue Zürcher Zeitung and a leading literary critic.
