Fritz Mauthe (born October 8, 1875 in Schwenningen ; † October 8, 1951 in Baden-Baden ) was a Württemberg entrepreneur and politician ( DDP ).

life and work

Fritz Mauthe was the son of the watch manufacturer Jakob Mauthe. He trained as a watchmaker. On January 1, 1904, he took over the management of the Mauthe watch factory in Schwenningen.

He had been a member of the Rottweil Chamber of Commerce since 1908, and later President. After 1945 he was again President of the Rottweil Chamber of Commerce and Industry . He was chairman of the supervisory board and later president of the state central bank for Württemberg. From 1946 he was also a member of the Supervisory Board of Württembergische Bank .

politics

In 1908 he was elected to the citizens' committee and the town council of Schwenningen. From 1924 to 1932 he was a member of the Landtag of the Free People's State of Württemberg for the constituency of Rottweil-Oberndorf-Schwenningen . He was a member of the DDP . From August 16, 1945 to September 11, 1945 Mauthe was employed as district administrator for the district of Donaueschingen .
