Fritz Meyer (Lawyer)
Fritz Meyer (born January 2, 1898 in Bayreuth ; † January 22, 1980 ibid) was a German lawyer and local politician .
Career
Meyer was born as the son of the businessman Fritz Meyer. He studied law in Munich and Würzburg and a PhD Dr. jur. From 1924 he had his own law firm in Bayreuth.
He was the early 1950s, the founder of the Free Voters Association Nonpartisan FDP group (ÜFW), from the 1972 Bayreuth Community (BG) emerged. Meyer was chairman of the ÜFW parliamentary group in the Bayreuth city council for 20 years and was also a member of various supervisory boards .
