Fritz Niedergesäß (born February 19, 1940 in Langengrassau , Luckau district ) is a German politician ( CDU ).

Niedergesäß is a qualified civil engineer . He was district chairman of the CDU district Treptow-Köpenick ( Berlin ) and local chairman in Berlin-Bohnsdorf . In 1990 he sat in the city ​​council of East Berlin and from 1990 to 2006 in the Berlin House of Representatives . For the 2013 federal election, Niels Korte initially ran for the Berlin constituency of Treptow-Köpenick , but surprisingly dropped out during the election campaign, so that the 73-year-old Niedergesäß was now a candidate for the Bundestag. In this constituency, however, Gregor Gysi (left) was elected.
