Fritz Raaflaub
Fritz Emanuel Raaflaub (born February 7, 1884 in Münchenbuchsee ; † August 5, 1953 at Niederhorn ) was a Swiss politician ( FDP ).
Life
Raaflaub studied philosophy and law at the Universities of Bern and Paris . He worked first as a secondary teacher, then as an advocate in Thun and Bern . From 1910 to 1912 he was president of the court in Bern and from 1912 to 1920 public prosecutor for the canton of Bern . From 1920 to 1947 Fritz Raaflaub was a member of the city council of Bern . At the beginning he was head of the school administration and from 1926 on the finance administration. Raaflaub also belonged to the Grand Council of the Canton of Bern from 1921 .
Fritz Raaflaub died while hiking on the Niederhorn . He left a wife and three daughters.
