Fritz Steub
Fritz Steub (born November 11, 1844 in Lindau ; † August 5, 1903 Partenkirchen ) was a German caricaturist and wood cutter .
Life
Fritz Staub studied mechanical engineering at the Polytechnic in Karlsruhe, after which he was a student of JL Raab for a short time . He married a daughter of the wood cutter Kaspar Braun , founder of a xylographic institute and later publisher of the Fliegende Blätter , for which Steub had worked since 1864.
