Fritz Thost

Fritz Thost (born November 23, 1905 in Rödlitz ; † 1974 ) was a German teacher, draftsman and dialect poet.

Thost was near Lichtenstein / Sa. born and worked most of his life as a teacher in Schneeberg (Ore Mountains) . He published several books, including about carving in the Ore Mountains , some of which he illustrated himself.

Exhibitions

In 2012 several of his pictures were exhibited to mark the 800th anniversary of Griesbach .
