Fritz Wecke

Fritz Wecke (* 19th century ; † April 26, 1913 in Swakopmund ) was a German - South West African entrepreneur . In 1892, together with the brothers Gustav Voigts and Albert Voigts , he founded the trading company Wecke & Voigts, which still exists today (as of October 2019) in German South West Africa ( Namibia ) .

Wecke was already active as a trading company in Schoonzicht in the Transvaal ( South African Republic ) before his involvement in German South West Africa .

His son, Fritz Wecke Junior later ran the Okombahe farm near Okahandja .
