Fritz Wilhelm Hörauf

Fritz Wilhelm Hörauf (born May 10, 1908 in Nuremberg , † April 24, 1991 in Pfarrkirchen ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

Life and work

Hörauf, who was a Protestant , first attended the simultaneous school for eight years , which he finished with the elementary school certificate. After an apprenticeship in toolmaking , during which he was active in the metalworking youth, he passed the journeyman's examination in 1926. He then continued his education at a technical school and then became a foreman at the Viktoriawerke in Nuremberg.

In 1947 Hörauf became managing director and in 1948 co-owner of the Otto Knott stove factory in Eggenfelden .

politics

Hörauf was initially a member of the Socialist Workers' Youth from 1922 and from 1926 also of the SPD. After the Second World War he became SPD local chairman in Eggenfelden.

After the Second World War , Hörauf was provisional district administrator for the Eggenfelden district in 1946 . Since 1952 he was deputy district administrator there. From 1953 to 1969 he was a member of the German Bundestag . He was always elected via the Bavarian state list.

Honors

On May 14, 1965, Hörauf was awarded the Bavarian Order of Merit . In January 1977 he was made an honorary citizen of the city of Eggenfelden .
