Fritz von Niederhäuser

Fritz von Niederhäusern (born August 19, 1876 in Oberhofen am Thunersee , † October 28, 1955 ) was a Swiss builder and architect .

Life

He studied construction at the Strelitz Technical Center and at the Technical University of Munich. First he worked for the construction company in Basel and from 1902 in the construction business of the architect Walther Belart in Olten .

In 1905 von Niederhäusern founded his own construction business in Olten, with which, among other things, he built the Lostorf Bad in Lostorf .

In 1912 he became a member of the Association of Swiss Architects BSA, founded in 1908 . After his military service during the First World War, von Niederhäusern founded an architecture office in Olten, where the well-known Basel architect Hermann Baur did his apprenticeship from 1918 to 1919 .
