Froßbach

Froßbach is a deserted area in the district of Ilsfeld in the Heilbronn district in northern Baden-Württemberg .

Around Ilsfeld there are a total of ten total devastation, which were probably settled during the time of the Alamanni . Village-like settlements have developed from individual farmsteads. Froßbach was mentioned once in documents in 1486 and was probably already abandoned as a place at that time. The name could have been given by an inlet of the Schozach , which cuts through the markings from north to south . The mark Froßbach went after the dissolution of the place in the mark of Ilsfeld.
