The Frutarom company is an international company. Frutarom employs 2,000 people worldwide and has around 60 manufacturing facilities in the United States, Great Britain, Switzerland, Germany, Israel, Denmark, China and other countries.
The product range includes fruit and vegetable preparations (semi-finished products), additives for food, functional food , beverages, aromas , fragrances and pharmaceuticals as well as cosmetics.
In May 2018, Frutarom was taken over by US competitor International Flavors & Fragrances for $ 7.1 billion.
Locations
The Frutarom Savory Solutions GmbH operates Spice Mills in Bramstedt , Sittensen and Korntal-Münchingen .
At the Emmerich am Rhein location , around 70 employees at Frutarom Germany GmbH produce fruit preparations for the milk processing industry, for baked goods manufacturers and other food companies. This plant belonged to IFF until 2004 .
In Frutarom Savory Solutions Austria GmbH , based in Salzburg, the group has been bundling its brands Gewürzmüller , Gewürzmühle Nesse and Wiberg, which they acquired through the takeover and are still present on the market, since February 2017 .
The Frutarom Switzerland Ltd. has offices in Wädenswil and Reinach .
