The company International Flavors & Fragrances Inc. (hereinafter IFF called) is headquartered in New York in the US. The company is listed in the S&P 500 share index. It had sales of $ 2.6 billion in 2010, making it the third largest manufacturer of fragrances and flavorings in the world.
IFF employs over 5,500 people worldwide, including 92 perfumers and 77 flavorists . Employee is u. a. also Sissel Tolaas . The company is listed on the New York Stock Exchange and has a total of 66 branches in 34 countries around the world. It was founded in 1958 as a merger of several companies, the oldest of which was founded in 1833. In Germany there are branches in Oberhausen in North Rhine-Westphalia and Hamburg .
Although IFF manufactures a large number of well-known products (in the perfume sector, for example for the brands Emporio Armani , Hugo Boss , Clinique , Givenchy , Donna Karan , Calvin Klein , Lancôme , Estée Lauder , Ralph Lauren and Yves Saint Laurent ), the company's name is in the Little public presence.
