Fumio Kawaguchi

Fumio Kawaguchi ( Japanese 川口 文 夫 , Kawaguchi Fumio ; born September 8, 1940 in Kōta ) is a Japanese manager. Kawaguchi was chairman of the board of directors of Chūbu Denryoku electricity company and is currently a consultant to that company. He is also Chairman of the Regional Economic Association Chubu Keizai Rengokai, CEO of cable television Nagoya Kēburubishon, Chairman of the Foundation Chūbu Sangyo Chiiki Kasseika Senta, executive representative of the charitable society Seiron Konwaikai, council member of the nonprofit organization for civil protection Nihon Bōsaishikikō, adviser to the football club Nagoya Grampus. He was also Honorary Consul of the Federal Republic of Germany for the Aichi prefecture until November 2017.

Life

Kawaguchi comes from the Kōta community in Nukata County in the Japanese prefecture of Aichi. He visited the prefectural high school in Okazaki and completed in 1964 to study at the Faculty trading one of Waseda University from. In the same year he joined the Chūbu Denryoku company . Among other things, he was head of the materials department, head of the Nagoya branch and managing director. He became Executive President in June 2001 and Chairman of the Company in June 2005. In May 2006 he took office as chairman of the regional business association Chūbu Keizai Rengōkai. On June 25, 2010, he stepped down from the chairmanship of Chūden Denryoku and became an advisor to the company.

From March 30, 2007 to November 16, 2017, Fumio Kawaguchi was Honorary Consul of the Federal Republic of Germany in Nagoya (responsible for the Aichi prefecture ).
