from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

As a radio transmission station (FuÜSt) when are Deutsche Telekom (formerly German Federal Post ) all own transmission facilities referred to the radio , mobile , private mobile radio service to serve and the terrestrial broadcasting of television and radio. These can be television or telecommunications towers , transmission masts or antenna supports erected on buildings . Transmitting systems for the satellite uplink are called earth stations (EFuSt).

A radio transmission point is named using the name of the local network to which it is connected and a consecutive number. The German local networks are named after the place in which the local exchange is located. Since local networks in most cases extend over several cities and municipalities, the name of the radio transmission point does not have to be identical to the place in which the transmitter is located.

The German radio tower is responsible for planning, building and maintaining the radio transmission points . The Group's own radio relay network is operated by T-Home , while the broadcasting operations are carried out on behalf of the television and radio broadcasters by Media Broadcast .
