The Fuscher Ache is a right tributary of the Salzach in Unterpinzgau and arises below the Fuscher Törl at an altitude of almost 1300 meters from the confluence of the two streams Kaefertalbach and Traunerbach, only to take in the Boggeneibach a little later from the left. The Kaefertalbach in turn takes up the Fuscherkarkopfbach from the left and the Sinnewelleckbach from the right above a steep step.
The Fuscher Ache flows from south to north through the valley of the same name and passes the small town of Fusch on the Großglocknerstrasse . On the one hand it serves the place as a drinking water reservoir, on the other hand the water of the Fuscher Ache is characterized by the highest water quality. It is rich in fish such as trout , grayling and char . After about 28 km it joins the Salzach at Krössenbach, a district of Bruck an der Großglocknerstraße .
