Future House (also known as UK deep house ) is a genre of electronic dance music derived from the genre House . The music genre gained notoriety in the 2010s. Future House is mostly described as a fusion between UK Garage and Deep House .

history

According to the French producer Tchami , he himself used the term “Future House” for the first time in 2013 in one of his songs on SoundCloud . Later, fans and the media ascribed their own musical style to the term.

The songs Koala and Gecko by Oliver Heldens made the music style known worldwide for the first time.

There are also some well-known producers in Germany who have shaped the style of music. Artists like Max Fail , Plastik Funk and Keanu Silva are worth mentioning .

Characteristic

Future House is produced at around 125 to 130 BPM . Bass that has been heavily modulated is used. The main melody (lead) is kept in a metallic and elastic sounding style. As in the house, Future House is played in four-four time. Unlike house, however, there are no snares in the second foot, and the open and closed hi-hats play a greater role.
